Luh Kiddo needed a lean, release-forward site to spotlight his project Left Me Out To Dry, centralize streaming and video discovery, and connect fans to merch and booking—without bloating the page or sending visitors in circles. The new site delivers a clean hero anchored by the project announcement, tight release tiles that deep-link to platforms, a simple video carousel, and clear paths to Shop and Booking.

A focused, campaign-ready site that makes it effortless for fans to listen, watch, and buy. The hero drives immediate action, release tiles route cleanly to platforms, the video slider encourages session depth without performance hits, and the storefront integration turns interest into purchases. Booking and socials remain visible throughout, aligning the site with the artist’s broader ecosystem

Process

  • Discovery & Goals Clarified campaign objective: drive fans to Left Me Out To Dry and convert to streams, views, and merch. Identified primary actions: Listen, Watch, Shop, Follow/Book.

  • Information Architecture & Flows Mapped a single-scroll journey: Hero → Music (releases) → Videos → Shop → Follow/Booking → Footer. Defined quick decision paths so fans choose an action within the first screen.

  • Content Modeling Structured reusable objects: Release card, Video tile, CTA banner. Set copy slots for micro-messaging (release title, platform prompts, shop/booking CTAs).

  • Wireframes → UI Design Low-fi wireframes to validate hierarchy and scroll rhythm. Designed a bold, campaign-first hero with clear primary/secondary CTAs. Created high-contrast tiles and large touch targets for mobile.

  • Component Library Built modular blocks for releases, video carousel, and CTAs to enable fast updates. Standardized spacing, type scales, and hover/focus states for consistency.

  • Integrations Music: Deep-linked releases to Feature.fm/TooLost and Spotify to keep playback native.

  • Shop: Connected Fourthwall storefront for clean checkout off-site.

  • Booking/Follow: Surface-level links placed in header/footer and action zones.

  • Copy & Messaging Wrote concise hero and tile microcopy aligned to the drop. Tight artist bio for credibility without slowing the scroll.

  • Performance Engineering Used deep links over heavy embeds to minimize LCP. Optimized images, lazy-loaded media, and limited third-party scripts.

  • SEO & Shareability Clear headings and crawlable sections for Music and Videos. Added descriptive alt text and tuned meta/OG tags for clean link previews. Created simple internal links from hero → releases → shop.

  • Accessibility & QA Checked color contrast, focus order, and keyboard navigation on key flows. Device testing on common breakpoints; refined tap targets and spacing for thumbs.

  • Launch & Handoff Final pass on links, favicons, and 404 behavior. Delivered update checklists (how to swap hero, add a release, rotate videos). Provided asset specs (image sizes, cover ratios) to keep future updates sharp.

  • Post Launch Readiness Documented a lightweight playbook for adding press/news later. Outlined next steps for pre-save flows, events/ticket CTAs, and email capture.
